The Hottest couple Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, had broken up in 2007. The duo caused a stir each time they crossed paths. The media was constantly on guard to capture a special moment between the two. But were always disappointed as the twosome made it a point to avoid each other. At the recently concluded IIFA Awards 2014 Kareena finally greeted her ex cordially, leaving him speechless.
According to sources, “When Kareena and Saif stepped on to the stage to present an award, Shahid, who was co-anchoring the segment with Farhan Akhtar, was standing at the the far end. Kareena greeted him graciously and even complimented the duo on the brilliant job they were doing. Saif who was standing beside his wife, smiled too. Shahid responded to Kareena’s ‘Hi’ courteously but after the couple had stepped off the stage, he turned to his co-host with a grin and asked, ‘Did she say ‘Hi’ to me?’”.
When Shahid and Kareena had parted, few believed that they would ever manage to put their past behind. But a couple of years ago, at the Filmfare Awards, the two had met and exchanged pleasantries.
Well it will not be far when the two will once again be seen gracing the big screen together once again. As Kareena’s conciliatory gesture could just mark the beginning of a whole new ‘professional’ friendship.
