Actress Ayesha Takia celebrates her 28th birthday today. This bubbly actress was born on April 10, 1986 in Mumbai, to a Gujarati father and a Maharashtrian-British mother.
Ayesha started her career as a child artist working in television commercials and anchoring children-based shows. When she was only 15 years old, she appeared in the famous advertisement for health drink brand Complan. The ad catapulted her and her fellow child-artiste Shahid Kapoor to stardom. She became a household name with Dandiya queen Falguni Pathak’s music videos.
Ayesha made her debut with Abbas Mustan’s ‘Tarzan: The Wonder Car’ alongside Vatsal Seth in 2004, which also got her the Filmfare Award for Best Debut. She is happily married to Farhan Azmi, restaurateur and son of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asif Azmi in 2009. Ayesha has one son, who was born on December 06, 2013. Currently, she lives in Mumbai, and devotes all her time to her family.
