When Shahrukh Khan got crowned with Bhoomi frontman’s hat

Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan and his KKR team has won the IPL trophy a second time this year. But the Badshah turned it into a hattrick what with the grand celebrations with his fans at Eden Garden. The fans got to see the coronation of their Badshah with a Tommy Bahama Hat.

According to sources, The hat originally belonging to musician Soumitra Ray, fascinated Shahrukh Khan to an extent that he actually requested the Bhoomi frontman if he could have it. Recalls the Bhoomi frontman,”Last time, when KKR’s victory was being celebrated at Eden, it was peak summer. I thought Shahrukh Khan, who was all over the place, needed some respite from the heat and offered him my hat. At least a thousand photographs later, I asked him to return it, as my younger son, Agnish, was very fond of it. Shah Rukh did just that, though I could clearly feel he had taken a liking to it.”

Soumitra further added that , he decided to sport the same hat this time too. “I told Shah Rukh how people had advised me to auction the hat after he wore it last time. He laughed as he took it from me on Tuesday and put it on. Then, he also posed for the picture in the hat, along with Soumitra. This hat is lucky for me. Can I keep it?’ I said yes, but asked him to wear it to Eden the next time after winning another IPL battle. He has agreed.”
